Facilities & Amenities

Yes, 6A electricity hookups are available at most pitches for €5 per night. Please request electricity when booking. Bring a standard European camping adapter.

Yes, we have clean shared shower and toilet facilities. Hot water is available. The facilities are maintained daily.

No. Ernella is a digital detox destination. There is no Wi-Fi and mobile phone reception is very limited in the valley. We consider this a feature, not a bug.

The nearest shops and restaurants are in Corte, approximately 25 minutes by car. We recommend stocking up on supplies before arriving. There is a small provision of basics available on-site during peak season.

Practical Information

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at Ernella. We ask that dogs are kept on a lead around the campsite and that owners clean up after them. Please be mindful of other guests.

For camping pitches: your tent, sleeping gear, cooking equipment, and supplies. A torch is essential — the valley gets very dark at night. Bring a European camping electrical adapter if you need power. River shoes are recommended for swimming. Don't forget a good book.

Yes, campervans and motorhomes are welcome, and towed caravans too (€10/night). Vehicles up to 7.5m can be accommodated. The access road is narrow in places, so please drive carefully. Vehicle and caravan fees vary — see our pricing on the stays page.

The Tavignano River offers wonderful natural swimming. However, river conditions can change. Always assess the current before entering, supervise children at all times, and never swim alone. The river is not supervised by lifeguards.

Silence is sacred at Ernella. Quiet hours are strictly observed from 22:00 to 08:00. During the day, we ask guests to keep noise to a minimum. No loud music at any time. This is a place for peace.
